A star clarinet player Sabine Grofmeier well-known in Hamburg from her latest series of concerts called Serenades loves to arrange impressive musical events in extraordinary locations. This time she converts the former Hamburg harbor customs pontoon Entenwerder in cooperation with BARKASSEN MEYER on the river Elbe  into a scene. Initially Grofmeier was going to play some exclusive concerts on the pontoon starting from April 2020 under the motto PONTON CLASSIC LOUNGE, but coronavirus changed her plans.

The CLASSIC AT HOME audience will get a unique possibility to visit the pontoon per video broadcast, to get an impression of this very special location and to listen to a one-of-a-kind concert where classical music meets Latin folklore.

The trio LOS MUCHACHOS PARAGUAYOS carries on the musical traditions of the band LOS PARAGUAYOS and its frontman and singer Luis Alberto del Parana, widely known in roaring 1950ies.  Sabine Grofmeier integrates her clarinet smartly into joyful rhythms of South America. By the way, the frontmen of LOS MUCHACHOS PARAGUAYOS, singer and guitar player Luis Alberto Amarilla is Parana´s rightful heir, being his nephew and having been playing numerous concerts with Parana himself.
