Yuriy Bervetsky

Born in 1970 in the city of Drohobych. Studied at the Department of Opera and Symphonic Conducting of the Lviv National Musical Academy named after M.V. Lysenko in the class of Professor I. Yuzyuk. He attended master classes in prof. I. Musina (St. Petersburg). Since 2000 Conductor of the Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after S. Krushelnytska. The author of the musical edition of A. Adana‘s ballet “ Le Corsaire.”

Since 2005, the Chief Conductor and artistic director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Opera Studio LNMA named after M. V. Lysenko.

Participant in many international festivals, including: “Virtuosos” (Lviv); “Contrasts” (Lviv); “Shimanovsky Quartet and Friends” (Lviv); “Bridge of Alexander III” (Lviv); Beskid without borders (Poland); them P. I. Tchaikovsky and N. F. von Mecc (Vinnytsia); them Adam Didou in Syanok, Poland, etc.

Perform with many orchestras of Ukraine and Poland, such Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Regional Philharmonic, Academic Chamber Orchestra “Virtuosos of Lviv“, Lviv Chamber Orchestra “Academy”, Youth Academic Symphony Orchestra “INSO-Lviv“, symphony orchestras in Rzeszow, Czestochowa, Green Tour.

He collaborated with many well-known soloists, such as G. Kremer, A. Brusilovsky, M. Vyman, D. Joffe, V. Vynnytsky, N. Khoma, N. Pilatyuk, A. Piriyev, J. Kot, A. Shilkloper, A. Pushkarev, F. Cassik, J. Yermin, O. Rapita, M. Dragan.
