CHRISTOPH POPPEN RETURNS TO HONG KONG SINFONIETTA AS THEIR NEW MUSIC DIRECTOR

Christoph Poppen joins Hong Kong Sinfonietta for his first concert as newly appointed Music Director on 20 May. As part of the French May Arts Festival, the programme features the Asian premiere of Matthias Pintscher’s Ex Nihilo for chamber orchestra as well as Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.2 with French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and Brahms’ enchanting Symphony No.4.
