BERLIN PHIL VIOLINIST BECOMES CHIEF CONDUCTOR IN AUSTRALIA

Sydney Youth Orchestra has appointed Stanley Dodds as Chief Conductor, starting in December.

Dodds, originally from Adelaide, is a longterm violinist member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

He is also chief conductor of the Sinfonie Orchester Berlin.
