ALBAN GERHARDT JOINS ORQUESTA NACIONAL DE ESPAÑA

Cellist Alban Gerhardt joins conductor Simone Young in Madrid for what promises to be a gripping series of concerts with Orquesta Nacional de España. Complemented by Arvo Pärt and Tchaikovsky, Alban completes the programme with Unsuk Chin’s Cello Concerto – a piece he himself inspired 15 years ago. Audiences can see any of the three concerts at on 5, 6 and 7 May at the orchestra’s symphony hall. Those further afield will be able to listen to the third performance live on Radio Nacional de España.
