Elena Revich
Elena Revich was born in Moscow in the family of musicians. At the age of eight she gave her first solo recital. In 1998 Elena Revich graduated from Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky at the course of the professor I.V. Bochkova.
In 1998 she became a diploma winner on the XI International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. Since that time Elena Revich started giving tours all over the world. She gives concerts in the world largest and most famous concert halls – Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Grand Hall of St. Petersburg Philharmonia, Beethovenhalle in Bonn, Duisburg Theatre, Prinzregententheater in Munich (Germany), Verdi Hall in the Milan Conservatory (Conservatorio di musica “Giuseppe Verdi” di Milano), National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome (Italy), The Nice Opera House (France), The Finlandia hall in Helsinki. Since 1998 till 2005 Elena Revich played the first violin in the chamber ensemble “Moscow Soloists” under the conduction of Yuri Bashmet.
Elena Revich gave concerts with such famous ensembles and orchestras as: State Academy Symphony Orchestra of Russia, State Symphony Orchestra of Georgia, Tapiola Symphony Orchestra (Finland), Northern Symphony Orchestra (England), Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, The New Russia State Symphony Orchestra (State Symphony Orchestra “Novaya Rossiya”) and “Russian Philharmonia” orchestra. The talented violinist gives concerts under the conduction of such Maestros as: D. Kakhidze, M. Gorenstein, D. Liss, A. Vedernikov, T. Currentzis and others.
Elena Revich regularly takes part in the festivals of chamber music on the Island of Elba and in Stresa (Italy), in Kreuth and Rolandseck (Germany), in Kuhmo and Mikkeli (Finland) and other cities, where she gives concerts with such outstanding musicians as G. Kremer, Y. Bashmet, M. Portal, V. Tretiakov, N. Gutman, M. Brunello, A. Knyazev and other famous musicians.
Elena Revich is the first performer of many pieces of modern composers: in 2000 she took part in Russian premiere of K. Penderecki’s Sextet; together with Yuri Bashmet she premiered in Moscow with “Double concerto” by B. Britten; regularly takes part in the international Diaghilev Festival in Perm. Exclusively for her many modern musical pieces have been written by the best young composers of Russia and Europe. Elena Revich has recorded “Violin concerto” by B. Bartók with the musicAeterna orchestra under the conduction of T. Currentzis. In 2013 she performed as an invited first violin player in “Teatro Real”, Madrid.
The violinist was awarded the honorary title “Distinguished Artist of Russia” and is a laureate of the youth prize “Triumph”.
