What do Vivaldi and Piazzolla have in common? How would The Four Seasons look like if somebody would combine them with Argentinian tango? The Twiolins, not afraid to experiment and to cross the genre borders, decided to think about it. As a result of their creative reinterpretation a new cycle named Eight Seasons was born - with a charming twinkle in Gidon Kremer´s direction.

To arrange The Four Seasons with Piazzola´s tangos was an exciting challenge – and The Twiolins were not afraid of it. Rewriting the famous musical texts helped to unlock the duo´s creativity to its full extent. Both Vivaldi and Piazzola underwent some changes in the chamber music direction and now demonstrate new musical facets to a knowing music lover. The Twiolins will take you to a journey through the two centuries and the two hemispheres crossing the borders between the continents, musical genres and traditions, but by no means changing the essentials.

The Four Seasons combined with the eleven Argentinian tangos: please enjoy Vivaldi´s ingenious melodies and let Piazzola´s passion overwhelm you!
