Anna Odintsova

Anna Odintsova was born in Moscow in 1990. From 2001–2003 she trained at the Julius-Stern-Institut für Musikalische Nachwuchsförderung in Berlin (class of Doris Wagner-Dix). In 2009 she graduated from the Moscow State Frédéric Chopin School of Music (class of Jacob Kantsnelson). Graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (class of Natalia Trull). She is currently perfecting her skills by taking a postgraduate traineeship at the conservatoire under the guidance of Alexander Bonduryansky.

Prize-winner at the All-German Piano Competition in Erlangen (2nd prize, 2005), the Modern Art and Education international competition in Rouze (2nd prize, 2007), the International Balys Dvarionas Competition in Vilnius (1st prize and Special Award for the best performance of a romantic work, 2008), the Festival of Romantic Music in Moscow (2009) and the International Stasys Vainiūnas Competition in Vilnius (2010).

In 2012 together with cellist Alexander Ramm she was a prize-winner at the Duet Competition in Sweden. In 2015 she won the Special Award as best accompanist in the cello category at the XV Tchaikovsky Competition.

Grant-recipient of the Yuri Rozum Charitable Foundation, the Agrupacion Coral de Benidorm Foundation and the Lions Club BonaFacta Foundation.

In the 2012–2013 season she toured as a soloist of the St Petersburg House of Music throughout Russia, Sweden, Austria, Spain, Italy, Finland, France and Bulgaria. Regularly features in projects of the Moscow Philharmonic and the St Petersburg House of Music. Has appeared at the Small, Great and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and the Brucknerhaus in Linz.

Has collaborated with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra under Juozas Domarkas, the Samara Philharmonic Orchestra under Mikhail Shcherbakov and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra under Andrei Podgorny.
